UIUC Engineering Open House 2006

Engineering Open House (EOH) is an annual, free, and public showcasing of the projects of engineering students at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The open house was held March 10-11, 2006.  From crushing cars with huge anvils, to crunching numbers with tiny microprocessors: EOH is where you can see what the future engineers of the world have in mind. Graduate student Ty Stokes coordinated the MAE Center display, schedule, and program.  Many center students volunteered to work with the visitors over the 2 day event.  They helped adults and children build K’Nex structures that were tested on the shaketable and answered questions about the center and UIUC engineering program.
