ROSE School International Exchange Program

The MAE Center is a founding member of a new and unique graduate school in earthquake engineering, the ROSE School - European School for Advanced Studies in Reduction of Seismic Risk, at the University of Pavia in Italy, http://www.roseschool.it/. With the International Exchange Program, international experts in seismology and engineering, including MAE faculty, will direct research and teach courses over a four to six-week period in a three-year sequence. A student exchange agreement will permit up to five students from UIUC to take courses in Italy and the same number of students from the ROSE School to attend courses in Urbana, IL
